UAE Ranks Among World’s Top 10 in Soft Power
According to the Global Soft Power Index 2025, the UAE now ranks 10th globally and first in the Middle East. With a nation brand value of US $1.223 trillion, the Emirates scored highly in future growth potential (4th), generosity (4th), economic strength (7th), and space exploration (top 10).
Rising in Competitiveness Rankings
In the IMD World Competitiveness Report 2025, the UAE climbed to 7th globally, holding its spot as the most competitive nation in the MENA region for the 8th consecutive year. The UAE ranked 2nd in economic performance and 4th in government efficiency, further strengthening its global reputation as a pro-business destination.
Record Non-Oil Trade Growth
The UAE achieved AED 3 trillion (US $817 billion) in non-oil trade in 2024 — a remarkable 14.6% jump from the previous year. With nearly 75% of its 2031 target already achieved, the UAE is fast-tracking diversification. Exports to its CEPA partners surged by over 42%, showcasing the impact of strategic global partnerships.
Progress in Gender Equality
The UAE has also advanced in social development. In the Global Gender Gap Report 2025, the country rose five places to 69th globally, marking a historic achievement for women’s participation in leadership and the workforce.
