Fitness enthusiasts in Dubai can test their strength and endurance at two upcoming DEKA STRONG roadshow events ahead of the UAE debut of DEKA FIT — a hybrid functional fitness race organised by the creators of Spartan Race.
DEKA FIT Makes Its UAE Debut at Skydive Dubai
DEKA FIT is coming to Dubai for the first time, with the main competition set for Saturday, March 28 at Skydive Dubai. The event features ten functional fitness zones, each separated by a 500-metre run, creating a course that totals five kilometres.
Competitors can participate individually or in two-person teams. A cash prize pool will be available for elite athletes.
What Is DEKA STRONG?
DEKA STRONG is a functional fitness challenge focused on strength and conditioning — and crucially, it involves no running. The format centres on exercises including sled pushes and pulls, weighted carries, lunges, and strength and endurance challenges across ten standardised zones.
Unlike the full DEKA FIT race, the STRONG format makes it accessible to participants who prefer a structured fitness challenge without the running component, while still testing power, agility, and mental toughness.

Two DEKA STRONG roadshow events are scheduled in Dubai before the main DEKA FIT competition:
