Sharjah Ruler Approves New Phase of Medical Insurance Plan

  • Sharjah, UAE – A new phase in the Emirate of Sharjah’s health insurance project has been implemented as per HH Dr.
  • Another future phase of the plan is to include citizens in the age group of between 45 to 50 years with probable enrollment of about eight thousand beneficiaries.
  • This approach toward health care is a continuous improvement, the focus on which reflects the Sharjah Ruler’s commitment to the developments of the emirate’s population by providing all-encompassing medical care to a wider age bracket over the years.

Sharjah, UAE – A new phase in the Emirate of Sharjah’s health insurance project has been implemented as per HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, that grants Dh50 million to the treatment of citizens aged between 50 and 55.

This will impact 5000 people in Sharjah state granting them access to medical care in University Hospital. This comes after a previous phase that targeted the elderly people, this means that the current program has benefited more than 9,654 citizens for medical services.

Indeed the successive phases manifested Dr. Sheikh Sultan’s commitment to enhance the healthcare service provision to the citizen of Sharjah. Another future phase of the plan is to include citizens in the age group of between 45 to 50 years with probable enrollment of about eight thousand beneficiaries.

This approach toward health care is a continuous improvement, the focus on which reflects the Sharjah Ruler’s commitment to the developments of the emirate’s population by providing all-encompassing medical care to a wider age bracket over the years.
