The airline has been establishing this centre with over GBP 4 million of investment and has designed this 900-square-meter’s lounge which can accommodate approximately 125 persons. This has been in the First and Business class travelers and all members of the Emirates Skywards.
The new lounge forms part of the airline’s growing network of such services with their facilities also being available at the Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow airports. This means that with this new addition, Emirates will now provide high end services on the ground in all the London airports it operates in, in order to ensure that the guests have an excellent experience before they board their flight.
In a recent interview, Mohammed Mattar, Emirates’ Divisional Senior Vice President of Airport Services stressed on how Emirates will continue to step up efforts to improve the quality of service delivery to customers onboard and on the ground. The new lounge at Stansted is a dream come through for us and clearly the display of commitment towards providing quality services in one of our key centers as stated by Mattar.
Situated in Satellite 1 close to the boarding gates, the lounge boasts comfortable and contemporary style finished with individual seating booths, fast and free Wi-Fi and available shower facilities. Customers can also order exquisite food and beverages menu that consists of fresh organic foods harvested from Full Circles Farm- based in Sussex. Furthermore, wines, spirits and Moet & Chandon champagne list are offered to the guests as well.
It also has the advantage of being near boarding areas the lounge being a mere two to three minutes to the airplane. The managing director of Stansted, Gareth Powell also welcomed the new feature of the lounge stressing that the luxurious lounge is an added benefit to travelers who will be flying with Emirates to Dubai and other destinations. This is because the airline boasts of a network that currently connects the passengers to over 140 destinations including Asia, the Middle East and many other others.
