The world’s first Aviation Future Week (AFW) began today in Dubai, where heads of international aviation, specialists, and innovation champions gather to talk about the development of air transportation. Initiated by Emirates Airline and the Museum of the Future, this event took place between October 15-17 and reflects key trends in the industry, including passenger happiness and the use of technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI).
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline & Group said that only Dubai can do it since it is combining an advanced technology hub with leaders willing to take risks. The topics of the presented talks include the AI and Robotics Era of Aviation or the Flight toward Sustainability.
Focused topics were topics such as sustainable aviation fuel or SAF, modular aircraft, and proper use of artificial intelligence to improve the customer experience. Some of the discussed issues were growth of passenger demand and the consequent need to work on the optimal airport planning.
