The President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed has captured the attention of social media users by posting a heart wrenching picture with a caption showing the love and Caress of Father on this Father’s day. The photo illustrated depicts Sheikh Mohamed as a child with his paternal father, UAE Founding Father, The Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, playing with him in water.

“You will forever be our guide, our hero, and the icon of our country,” reads the message that is left beside the sculpture.

This year Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi honored the Father’s Day by sending a glowing photo from the International Space Station last year year. Dr. Al Neyadi acknowledged the effort made by the father of the nation Sheikh Zayed and President Sheikh Mohamed and his father Saif whom he admired as his ‘light. ’

We also get to know the Father’s Day celebration of other countries around the world.

This is a good occasion to remember fathers and to pay tribute to the efforts they make to ensure millions of children are cared for and protected. Hence, although the act of celebrating is universal, the specific date on which people celebrate may differ across different countries and cultures.
