Work has restarted on the mega Jeddah Tower in KSA to reclaim the tallest building record from Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. Burj Khalifa since 2010 which is 828 meter tall. Empower a district cooling company in Dubai, has achieved a new Guinness record for the highest capacity in global DCS with its Business Bay project of 56, 646 TR. The world record was presented during the WETEX 2024 event held at Empower’s booth on the second day for the ceremony, where Bin Shafar accepted the certificate from a Guinness official in the presence of other shareholders. Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi (AUH) has recommissioned its Northern Runway (13L/31R) after it undertaken rehabilitation work with the runway now active for both landing and take-off. There was increased technology changes on the runway with the focus on safety, sustainability, and operations. WeRide and Uber have agreed on a new pilot project to use self-driving robot taxis in Abu Dhabi before the end of this year. As described in this novel partnership, WeRide’s autonomous vehicles will be incorporated with the Uber network hence, enabling riders to book a ride using the Uber application. Emirates has deployed its refurbished Boeing 777 aircraft on six US routes and unveiled to customers the latest modification in the plane in the form of its celebrated Premium Economy class. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has inaugurated two new bridges as part of the Garn Al Sabkha-Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road Intersection Development Project.
