Standing proudly on the banks of Dubai Creek in Al Jaddaf, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library has become one of the city's most recognisable cultural destinations.
Officially inaugurated in 2022 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the seven-storey building was designed in the shape of a rehal, the traditional wooden book stand used to hold the Quran.

The library spans approximately 54,000 square metres and houses more than one million printed and digital resources across nine specialised libraries, covering children's literature, business, arts, media, maps, rare collections, and manuscripts.

Following a major renovation completed in 2018, the library reopened with a completely refreshed identity focused on art, architecture, and design.
