ARMY finally has dates to circle. BTS have officially confirmed their full-group BTS comeback 2026, and Netflix is front and center. A global livestream, a new studio album, a documentary film, and an international tour are now publicly scheduled — closing the military hiatus chapter with a tightly planned rollout.
The announcements place BTS back into public view with confirmed releases, named platforms, and global access, including direct relevance for audiences in Dubai who can watch and follow every stage of the comeback in real time.
Netflix Announces Global Livestream from Seoul
Netflix has confirmed BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, a worldwide livestream set for March 21, 2026 at 8 p.m. KST. The performance broadcasts live from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul — a historic public site frequently used for national-scale events — and streams to approximately 190 countries.
This livestream marks BTS's first full-group live performance since completing military service. Viewers in Dubai and other international markets can tune in simultaneously with audiences in South Korea.
The announcement was shared through Netflix's official Tudum platform and supported by regional Netflix accounts, including Netflix India, confirming the same date and event title.
ARIRANG Album Releases March 20
One day ahead of the livestream, BTS will release their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, on March 20, 2026. This is their first full-length studio album since BE in 2020. The record features 14 tracks.
The album title references the traditional Korean folk song "Arirang," a cultural symbol associated with separation, memory, and return. Official descriptions note that the album centres Korean identity and storytelling.
Netflix and major music publications have confirmed that new songs from ARIRANG will debut during the March 21 Netflix livestream, placing the album directly within the comeback schedule.
BTS: The Return Documentary — March 27 on Netflix
Netflix has also announced a feature-length documentary titled BTS: The Return, scheduled for release on March 27, 2026.
The film is directed by Bao Nguyen, known for The Greatest Night in Pop. According to Netflix's official description, the documentary follows the members as they reunite after military service and begin preparing for their next chapter as a group.
The project focuses on rehearsal periods, personal conversations, and the adjustment process following time apart — offering viewers behind-the-scenes access during a pivotal moment.
ARIRANG World Tour Confirmed, Middle East Included
BTS have confirmed plans for the ARIRANG World Tour, beginning April 9, 2026 in Goyang, South Korea. Official tour materials describe a stadium-format production with an in-the-round stage design spanning 82 dates across 23 countries.
While full routing details have not yet been released, official statements confirm tour dates planned throughout Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East through 2026 and 2027. Dubai and the wider UAE region fall within the Middle East leg, with specific dates expected to be announced as part of the 2027 tour extension.
With a Netflix livestream reaching 190 countries, a 14-track studio album, a documentary premiere, and a confirmed 82-date world tour, BTS have formally launched their next era. The timeline is public, the platforms are confirmed, and global audiences — including those in Dubai — are fully part of the rollout.
