Imaan Hammam is a Dutch supermodel of Egyptian and Moroccan descent who was born in Amsterdam and discovered at age 13 by a CODE Management scout at Amsterdam Central Station. In 2013 she headed to Paris and opened the Givenchy show as an exclusive, a rare honor for a newcomer. Anna Wintour mentioned her in an editor’s letter on the occasion of her first American Vogue feature. Chanel went on to name her the face of its beauty line and Business of Fashion placed her on its BoF 500 list in 2017 and again in 2018.
Her runway résumé features Prada and Chanel, and she has also walked for Dior and Versace. In March 2018 she claimed the cover of Vogue Arabia next to Iman, an inspiration of hers. Harper’s Bazaar honored her as a Woman of the Year in 2020, and Estée Lauder named her a global brand ambassador in 2023. She is also a global ambassador for the nonprofit She’s the First, which champions girls’ education around the world. Her agency, DNA Models, calls her a fashion industry icon and a shining example for young women everywhere.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Dazzles Los Angeles
Hours ago, Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City hosted this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and what a night it was! Los Angeles welcomed the spectacle back after 19 years away, and Adam Selman, the brand’s creative leader, gleefully called it the city of angels. All thanks and congratulations go to Selman for a next level production that sent every model down the runway looking ravishing from head to toe.
Selman took the creative lead in April 2025 after a stint as chief design officer at Savage X Fenty, and his story at the brand goes back to 2012, the year he designed Rihanna’s performance looks and famously created a costume in two hours. He loved that several models headed straight from the Paris runways to his Los Angeles stage.
Megan Thee Stallion and Katseye performed live on the runway alongside Megan Moroney, and Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel strutted back into the spotlight. Solange Omon, the winner of the docuseries Angels Among Us, made her debut as the brand’s newest Angel. Trinity Rodman also made her debut for the Pink line, and Gigi Hadid and Alex Consani joined the lineup too, so the fun lasted from the first look to the last.
Imaan Hammam Lights Up the Runway in White and Silver
Did you see Imaan strut down the runway in that white and silver number? Her top was bedazzled in silver detailing, and her bottoms featured a silver fringe waistline whose fringes swayed on every stride. Double chunky silver cuffs hugged her wrists, and a diamond necklace and matching earrings gave the look extra glamour. Long stilettos finished the outfit, and her strut turned the whole creation into a runway celebration. She was praised for the look, and it is easy to see why. Every angle of that outfit was a delight, and the fringe made each stride a party. Breathtaking! Stunning!
A Golden Masterpiece Made of Paillettes
Then came the golden masterpiece, and the runway turned to gold. Imaan strutted out in a yellow set and a gorgeous pair of gold wings made of golden paillettes that fringed freely toward the floor. Off white and yellow cuffs hugged her wrists, green hoops adorned her ears, and gold strappy sandals finished the picture. Every strand of those wings swayed behind her on every stride, and the golden show was a joy to watch.
Imaan Hammam Is a Proud Veteran of the Pink Runway
Her Victoria’s Secret story began in 2014, and she returned to the runway in 2024 and again in 2025. The show made its big comeback in New York in 2024, and Imaan was there for that celebration. This year makes three straight shows since the brand’s return, which is a wonderful streak to celebrate. Gigi Hadid and Joan Smalls were among the veteran models on the 2026 lineup, and Liu Wen and Cindy Bruna joined them. Walking alongside so many legends is a thrill, and Imaan fit right into that sisterhood of runway stars. In 2025 she wore black lingerie dotted in silver crystals, and a silver body chain and white wings tinted pink finished the look, a runway treat worth remembering.
We Love Every Bit of Imaan
From the exact second she stepped onto that Los Angeles stage, she delivered a masterclass in pure supermodel power that left everyone completely breathless. Her signature bouncy coils were the undisputed beauty highlight of the entire night, bringing an authentic texture to the runway. She commanded the room with that legendary, unmatched walk, proving she operates on an entirely different level. She has every single reason to be profoundly proud of herself because this performance was a historic statement of confidence, beauty, and absolute dominance.
The impact of her presence stretches far beyond a single night of high fashion. Millions of women and young girls all over the globe look up to her as the ultimate blueprint of grace, representation, and unapologetic self-love. She is a living icon who shows the world exactly what it looks like to stay true to your roots while conquering the highest peaks of global stardom. The entire fashion community is already buzzing with electric anticipation because we simply cannot wait to see her back on that stage next year to reclaim her crown.
