LG Channels UAE has officially launched, bringing a free, plug-and-play streaming service to every LG Smart TV in the country. With no subscription fees and no need for an external streaming device, UAE residents can now access live channels, movies, and exclusive shows in Arabic and English around the clock.
How LG Channels Works on LG Smart TVs
LG Channels is designed to be immediate. Turn on any LG Smart TV, press the Home button on the remote, open the LG Channels app from the launch bar, and streaming begins instantly. There are no sign-up forms, no payment details, and no hidden costs — just free content available 24/7.
The platform carries a broad catalog of live channels, fan-favorite movies, and exclusive shows in both Arabic and English. That dual-language approach, combined with a localized interface that supports right-to-left Arabic menus alongside English navigation, makes LG Channels one of the most locally tailored free streaming launches the UAE has seen.
What Channels Are Available in the UAE
The channel lineup mixes international names with strong regional appeal. Available titles include Bloomberg, Euronews, Zee Alwan, Zee Aflam, Smashi TV, and Lovin TV. WATCH IT contributes eight FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channels, covering news, sports, kids, lifestyle, documentaries, and movies.
LG says more channels will be added as it deepens its content partnerships in the region. The service is built around FAST — the ad-supported model that has become the dominant form of free streaming globally, delivering broadcast-style channels without a cable bill.
LG's MENA Expansion Strategy
The UAE rollout marks the first phase of LG's wider Middle East and North Africa expansion, with additional markets in the region set to gain access soon. Before the public launch, LG gave UAE audiences a first look at the platform through K-Expo at Dubai's Global Village, where visitors explored the service through interactive booths and tried it on webOS.
Globally, LG Channels already operates across 33 countries and offers more than 4,000 live channels — positioning it as one of the largest free TV ecosystems tied to a smart TV brand. The UAE launch extends that footprint into one of the region's most connected consumer markets.
LG says the rollout strengthens its digital ecosystem in the UAE and reflects its global commitment to delivering free content directly through LG Smart TVs, without requiring external devices or additional costs.
