If somebody told you they were putting comedians, musicians, storytellers, creators and performers on one stage for five straight hours, you'd probably assume it shouldn't work. That's exactly why RE:SET at Dubai Opera is getting attention. Taking over the venue on June 6, the show brings together 13 artists from different creative worlds for a one-night-only live experience that moves between comedy, music, storytelling, digital culture and audience interaction.
The goal is simple: keep the audience guessing. Showtime starts at 7 PM, and once it begins, the experience unfolds as a continuous production designed to move between formats, performances and personalities throughout the night.
What Makes RE:SET at Dubai Opera Different?
Most live shows fit neatly into a category. This one doesn't.
RE:SET has been designed as a multi-format production where comedy sets, live music, storytelling segments, creator appearances and audience participation all exist within the same experience. The event is presented by thekēnest and runs in both English and Arabic, bringing together some of Dubai's most recognisable creative voices under one roof.
Rather than separating performers into individual headline acts, the show is built around momentum, with each segment feeding directly into the next.

Before You Go
Guests should arrive early, as late entry restrictions apply once the performance begins. Dubai Opera's dress code remains in effect, meaning overly casual attire including shorts and flip-flops may not be permitted inside the venue.
Children under 15 are not allowed inside the Main Auditorium, while guests aged 15 and above require a valid ticket for entry. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
It's also worth noting that RE:SET is a venue hire presented by an independent promoter and is not produced by Dubai Opera itself.
