This landmark production by the Malhaar ensemble traces the entire century-long journey of Bollywood music — from the 1940s golden era through to today — across a two-hour spectacular blending live music, dance, theatre, and visual effects. More than 50 artists perform alongside RJ Pavitra Menon of City1016FM as narrator, and dancers from the Tapasya Centre for Performing Arts. Three months of research by Bollywood music authority Girish Shah shaped the setlist, directed by Kevin Oliver. It is an unmissable night for anyone who has grown up with these timeless songs.
