The Michael Jackson Dubai event on April 25 is exactly what it sounds like — and then some. VOX Cinemas is not letting the UAE release of Michael pass without marking it properly. On Friday, the city gets a one-day celebration with live performances, a graffiti bus, and a live graffiti wall created in real time. Admission is free.

The celebration launches at City Centre Mirdif at 4:00 PM, then moves to Mall of the Emirates at 7:00 PM. Both stops feature live performances, a graffiti bus, and a live graffiti wall where a fan artist creates pieces in real time based on official artwork from the film.

The centrepiece at each venue is the live graffiti wall. A fan artist will create pieces drawn directly from official artwork produced for the Michael film. The graffiti bus serves as a visual installation at both malls, with live performances running throughout each stop.
About the Michael Film
Michael is directed by Antoine Fuqua and stars Jaafar Jackson as the King of Pop. The film chronicles Jackson's journey from his early days with the Jackson 5 through his rise as a global entertainment icon. The supporting cast includes Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, and Miles Teller as entertainment lawyer John Branca. Producer Graham King, who also produced Bohemian Rhapsody, backs the project. The film is currently showing at VOX Cinemas locations throughout the UAE.
