It was announced that the long-awaited 1 Billion Followers Summit 2025 will commence on 11th January 2025 and will be held under the auspices of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai. Being launched by the UAE Government Media Office, this event is to be held across the Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future.
This year’s theme, “Content for Good” is in tandem with the vision of the UAE in nurturing a viable and sustainable content market within the region as well as creating an emphasis on making content for good. The summit will host more than 15,000 influencers, content creators, and professionals worldwide: this immense opportunity means that it will be one of the largest platforms that will facilitate knowledge exchange.

The summit will feature 420 sessions, including keynote speeches, roundtables, and workshops across three core tracks: These three words include Economy of Scale, Content Management and Technology Integration to support the proposed change. Mohammad Al Gergawi Ministry of Cabinet affairs UAE acknowledges that the summit will help define a sustainable content creation economy. He enumerated plans like a $41 million content industry fund, Creators HQ that will launch in December to support creators and attract talents from around the world to the UAE.
