Season 29 runs from October 16, 2024 to May 11, 2025 — a seven-month run that follows directly on the heels of an extraordinary previous season. Global Village Season 28 attracted over 10 million visitors, the highest footfall in the attraction's 28-year history, cementing its place as one of the most visited destinations in the entire region.
Global Village has been in operation for more than a quarter of a century, establishing itself as the UAE's leading entertainment, dining, and shopping hub for families and tourists from around the world.
New Country Pavilions and Cultural Highlights
Season 29 introduces three brand-new country pavilions: Iraq, Jordan, and Sri Lanka & Bangladesh. These additions bring the total number of pavilions to 30, representing over 90 cultures from across the globe.
New cultures will be represented through performances that have not been seen at Global Village before, all designed to welcome families and international visitors alike. The expanded pavilion lineup adds fresh depth to the already wide array of cultural experiences on offer.
Entertainment, Shows, and Attractions
The new season delivers a massive entertainment programme, including:
- More than 40,000 shows across the season - Over 200 rides, games, and attractions - A brand-new Cyber City Danger Zone Stunt Show featuring gravity- and speed-defying stunts - A new haunted house experience - The return of Dragon Lake, with a centrepiece dragon now twice the size of previous seasons - Fireworks every Friday and Saturday at 9pm
Dining and Shopping
Global Village Season 29 also expands its food and retail offerings significantly. Visitors can expect:
- More than 3,500 shopping outlets - Over 250 dining options from around the world - A newly introduced Restaurant Plaza featuring 11 double-storey restaurants offering global cuisines, situated next to the Carnaval fun-fair area with views of a live performance stage
