Live-music fans in Abu Dhabi have another reason to mark 26 April 2025 in their calendars: Kaiser Chiefs have been confirmed for the inaugural OFFLIMITS Festival, joining headliner Ed Sheeran at Etihad Park, Yas Island — the largest outdoor concert venue in the Middle East.
Kaiser Chiefs Take the Stage
Kaiser Chiefs are one of British indie rock's most enduring acts. The Leeds five-piece — vocalist Ricky Wilson, guitarist Whitey White, bassist Simon Rix, keyboardist Peanut Baines, and drummer Vijay Mistry — have been delivering electrifying performances for over two decades. Their anthems "Ruby" and "I Predict a Riot" still ignite crowds worldwide, and Abu Dhabi audiences can expect the same high-energy set at OFFLIMITS.
Ed Sheeran Headlines a Stacked OFFLIMITS Lineup
Ed Sheeran anchors the bill with a two-hour headline set, warming the crowd before Kaiser Chiefs and the rest of the lineup close out the night. The full OFFLIMITS 2025 roster also includes OneRepublic, Faithless, ARTBAT, Ben&Ben, Sevdeliza, Zeyne, Altégo, Leony, and Fun Lovin' Criminals — making it one of the most diverse single-day festival lineups the UAE has ever seen.
The festival was conceived as a fully immersive, design-led experience. Stage architecture was created by Florian Wieder, whose work spans Eurovision, the MTV VMAs, and arena tours for Adele, U2, and Beyoncé.
