World Governments Summit 2025: Record Participation
The World Governments Summit 2025 ran from 11 to 13 February in Dubai under the theme "Shaping Future Governments." The 12th edition drew unprecedented international participation, including:
- Over 30 heads of state and government - 140 government delegations - More than 80 international and regional organisations - More than 6,000 participants — a 50% increase on the previous year
The expanded agenda featured 21 global forums, more than 200 interactive sessions, and contributions from over 300 prominent global figures, covering themes from effective governance and the global economy to climate resilience and emerging technology frontiers.
UAE's Role in Shaping Future Governance
The meeting on the summit's final day underscored the UAE's position as a leading nation in forming future governance structures.
