Please Leave by 10 Dubai is officially turning one, and the city's favourite early-evening party is marking the milestone with a birthday edition at Lock Stock Barrel, Business Bay on Saturday, May 9. One year of leaving the dancefloor on time — and the concept is not slowing down.
A Full Night Out Without the 3 AM Regret
[Please Leave by 10]( is a nightclub concept built for the generation that grew up on 90s and early 2000s music and still wants a proper night out — just not one that wipes out the entire next day. Dubai-based Bulgarian couple Stoyan Angelov and Johana Angelova co-created the concept after realising that late nights no longer fit their lifestyle as parents. The idea found a crowd fast. In Bulgaria, where the concept launched first, events were selling out a week in advance.
The Dubai edition arrived and the city took to it immediately. Now, one year in, the team is celebrating with a birthday edition at one of Business Bay's most well-known live music venues. The format has not changed: early doors, throwback anthems, a full dancefloor, and home in time to actually sleep.
DJ Dean Curtis on the Decks
[DJ Dean Curtis]( handles the music, and if you have been to a previous Please Leave by 10 night in Dubai, you already know what that means. Expect a non-stop set of 90s and 2000s hits — the kind of playlist that has every person in the room screaming lyrics they forgot they knew. This is a full dance party, not a chill playlist situation. It just wraps at an hour when you can still function the next morning.

One Year In and the Format Still Works
What made Please Leave by 10 stick in Dubai is exactly the thing that sounds counterintuitive: it ends early, and people love it for that. The crowd showing up to these parties is the group that has been told they are too old to go out, too tired to last the night, or too busy to justify a late one. This party removes all of those excuses.
The birthday edition on May 9 is the celebration of one full year of that exact idea. Lock Stock Barrel in Business Bay, located at the Grand Millennium Hotel, is the setting. DJ Dean Curtis has the playlist. The only thing missing is your ticket.
Grab yours on District UAE at AED 140 onwards. This is a 21+ event, and tickets are available while they last.
