Emirati Traditions at the Heart of Ramadan
Sheikh Mohammed greeted all those present and underlined that Emirati traditions of unity and kindness form the essence of Ramadan observances. The gathering reflected the Islamic teachings that promote peace, cooperation, and support for those in need — values that define the holy month across the UAE.
Year of the Community 2025
The Ramadan celebrations carried added significance this year following the announcement by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan designating 2025 as the Year of the Community. The declaration aims to strengthen social harmony, civic collaboration, and a collective sense of belonging across the nation.
The Al Mudaif Majlis event exemplified that spirit, with Sheikh Mohammed's reception of well-wishers serving as a symbol of the UAE's enduring commitment to national unity, peace promotion, and support for disadvantaged members of society during the holy month of Ramadan.
