What Is Sandbox Swapmeet?
If you have never been, Sandbox Swapmeet is the UAE's homegrown pop culture community event, founded around a simple idea: bring collectors, gamers, cosplayers, artists, and fans into one space to celebrate what they love. Since its first volume, the event has grown to represent over 40 communities across the UAE, covering everything from Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! to LEGO, K-pop, anime, sneakers, and beyond.
Past volumes have drawn thousands of visitors and hosted Warhammer GCC Championships, Tamiya racing events with hundreds of cars, trading card game tournaments, fingerboarding competitions, and K-pop stages. Volume 8 is expected to take all of that further — with attendance projected to exceed 16,000.

Previous volumes were held at venues including Dubai Outlet Mall and The B1 Mall, but the move to DWTC signals a clear scale-up for the community.
