# Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak at Eid Al Itihad Ceremony
The Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace organised the 53rd Eid Al Itihad ceremony at the National Theatre, with Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan presiding. Special guests included Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah — Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace and President of the UAE Fatwa Council — alongside diplomats and senior dignitaries.
Tribute to Sheikh Zayed's Vision
In his address, Sheikh Nahyan honoured the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE, and his forward-looking vision for the nation.
"Eid Al Etihad is an opportunity to genuinely thank the great uniter for the noble efforts of Sheikh Zayed. It is in recognition of these that we work to bring peace, love, and global harmony under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan," said Sheikh Nahyan.
Promoting Peace and Tolerance
Echoing that spirit, Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah described Eid Al Itihad as the ideal occasion to renew the UAE's commitment to tolerance. Reflecting on the Forum's decade-long journey, he noted:
"Over the years the Forum has been a reflection of UAE's policy and has evolved into a symbol of tolerance across the world. That's why it has given humanity a new concept of peace, putting its values on the agenda of priorities."
A Decade of Achievements
At the ceremony, attendees watched a documentary tracing the Forum's milestones since its founding in 2014 — from its earliest peace dialogues to cementing the UAE's reputation as a global capital of tolerance. The film illustrated how the Forum has translated the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed into tangible, international results.
The 53rd Eid Al Itihad marked the UAE's enduring commitment to unity, tolerance, and peace on the world stage.
