Ski Dubai, in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, has confirmed that the seventh edition of the DXB Snow Run returns to Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates on Sunday, 17 May 2026.
What Is the DXB Snow Run
The DXB Snow Run is an annual indoor running event at Ski Dubai, Mall of the Emirates, giving participants a one-of-a-kind racing experience in sub-zero temperatures of -4°C. It has been on the Dubai calendar since 2020, and each year the numbers climb. Last year's edition saw a record 700 athletes from 70 nationalities compete — which tells you everything about how seriously Dubai takes this one.
This year's edition runs under the theme "Growing in Unity," as part of the UAE Year of Family, with the goal of promoting inclusion and wellbeing through an active lifestyle.
Race Distances, Pricing, and Who Can Join
Runners can choose from a 3km route (three loops) or a 5km route (five loops), and can compete individually or in teams of five, with groups going head-to-head against each other. The event is open to male and female participants aged 13 to 70.
Entry fees are set at AED 120 for the 3km race and AED 150 for the 5km. Everyone who finishes the race receives a medal, and the top three participants from each category take home prizes.

What Is New for the Seventh Edition
Ski Dubai is introducing a new Spectator Pass at AED 50, allowing family and friends to support participants from a dedicated area inside the snowy venue, with a complimentary hot beverage included. Spectator passes are available on-ground during the event.
Watching someone run laps in an indoor ski slope at -4°C while you sip something warm is honestly a solid way to spend a Sunday morning.
Training Sessions Before Race Day
To help participants prepare, Ski Dubai is offering daily morning training sessions, including guided snow hikes up the slope. Sessions run Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and Saturday to Sunday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. These are open to runners aged 13 to 70, so you can walk the course and get your legs ready well in advance.
