To celebrate its official opening, the hotel partnered with XDubai and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism to deliver a breathtaking aerial performance high above Dubai Marina.
Wingsuit Athletes Take to the Skies Above Dubai Marina
The celebration featured five elite XDubai wingsuit athletes executing a meticulously choreographed formation flight across the Marina skyline. Soaring at extreme speeds, the athletes created a dramatic visual display that immediately captured attention across the city.
The stunt reached its most daring moment when the lead athlete performed a high-speed fly-through of Ciel Dubai Marina's iconic architectural centrepiece, known as the "eye of the needle." The athlete passed directly through the 82-storey tower at speeds exceeding 200 kilometres per hour, setting a new benchmark for aerial stunts in the city.
Meanwhile, the remaining wingsuit flyers released vivid colour trails, transforming the sky into a moving canvas against Dubai's skyline.
Inside Ciel Dubai Marina, the World's Tallest Hotel
Standing at an extraordinary 377 metres, Ciel Dubai Marina has officially claimed the title of the world's tallest hotel. Its bold, instantly recognisable design has already become a defining feature of the Marina district.
The hotel features 1,004 rooms and suites, all designed with floor-to-ceiling windows offering sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf and the city below.
