Expo City Dubai is marking Eid Al Adha by opening its pavilions and attractions free of charge to children aged 12 and under. The offer covers popular spots including Terra Indoor Playground and Taqa Island, making it one of the most family-friendly Eid deals in the city.

Free Entry for Children at Expo City This Eid Al Adha

Children 12 years old and below receive complimentary access to all Expo City Dubai pavilions and attractions during the Eid Al Adha holiday. This includes the Terra Indoor Playground and Taqa Island, two of the most visited family destinations within the complex.

Adults have two ticketing options: a pavilion-only pass at Dh50, or a full attractions pass at Dh120. All visitors — children and adults alike — are also eligible for a 20% discount on select dining options across the venue.

Public Holidays

UAE government guidelines confirm that employees will work on Arafah Day but will receive three days off during Eid Al Adha. Plan your family visit accordingly.

Expo City Dubai Summer Operating Hours

Summer hours are in effect from 15 June to 15 September 2024. During this period, the schedule is as follows:

- Monday to Friday: 12 noon to 8pm - Weekends: 10am to 8pm

Garden in the Sky and children's playgrounds operate on a separate evening schedule, opening from 5pm to 10pm daily.

Seasonal Closures and Maintenance

Visitors should note the following temporary closures during the summer season:

- Al Wasl dome projections are switched off from June through October - Surreal water feature is closed July through September for conservation purposes - Garden in the Sky is closed for annual maintenance from 1 July to 15 August

Summer Camp at Terra Pavilion

Expo City Dubai is also running a summer camp from 8 July to 23 August at Terra Pavilion, operating from 9am to 2:30pm daily. The programme covers robotics, photography, physical activities, creative arts, and supervised outings to nearby facilities — an ideal option for school-age children during the long summer break.
