Dubai new parks are about to become part of daily life in a big way. The city has confirmed 35 new community parks set for launch in 2026, bringing more green space into residential areas and giving people easier access to outdoor spaces right where they live.
Led by Dubai Municipality, the plan covers 23 residential communities and is backed by an investment of AED 348 million. The total area exceeds 340,000 square metres, with every location placed within a five-minute walk of residents.
This rollout sits within the long-term vision of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, with a clear focus on improving everyday living through accessible public green space.
What These New Parks Will Include
Each of the Dubai new parks has been designed with practical, everyday use in mind. These are not empty green areas — they come with facilities that support active lifestyles and social time outdoors.
Plans confirm more than 60 children's play areas, 18 football fields, and 20 multi-use sports courts. Running and cycling tracks are integrated into each park layout, giving residents dedicated fitness space close to home. Skate areas, picnic zones, and water features are also part of the mix.
Food and beverage outlets are included too, adding a social layer to these locations. Families, friends, and neighbours can spend time in the parks without needing to travel beyond their community.

Sustainability is a core part of the project. The parks will use recycled water for irrigation and incorporate renewable energy systems where possible. Dubai Municipality has also confirmed the use of artificial intelligence and robotics to improve resource management across the sites.

Part of a Bigger Green Vision
The 2026 park rollout falls under the Blue and Green Spaces Roadmap 2030, a wider programme worth more than AED 4 billion. That programme targets the construction of over 120 parks and 200 sports and recreational facilities across the emirate over the next five years.
Looking further ahead, Dubai Municipality aims to create 310 new parks and upgrade more than 220 existing parks by 2040 — making walkable green space a defining feature of how the city grows.
