Dubai’s summer shopping season is getting a luxury upgrade. The new Dubai Summer Surprises Luxe Edition has launched with exclusive collections, private consultations, personalised services and premium shopping experiences available across the city.
Running until August 30, 2026, the programme moves beyond the traditional sale format associated with summer shopping. Instead of focusing only on price reductions, it gives residents and visitors access to product previews, limited-edition releases, personal styling, luxury pop-ups and enhanced loyalty benefits.
The programme includes major names across fashion, beauty, jewellery, fragrance, footwear and interiors. Bloomingdale’s Dubai, Harvey Nichols Dubai, Areej, Aati, Dunhill, Judith Leiber Couture, Manolo Blahnik, Marc Jacobs and several other retailers are participating.
For shoppers who value access and personalisation as much as savings, the Luxe Edition adds a new layer to the wider Dubai Summer Surprises programme.
What Is the Dubai Summer Surprises Luxe Edition?
The Dubai Summer Surprises Luxe Edition is a curated programme of premium retail experiences taking place at participating stores and shopping destinations.
It has been built around three main themes: access and exclusivity, discovery and showcase, and elevated value and loyalty.
Access and exclusivity covers experiences that may not usually be available during an ordinary shopping trip. These can include one-to-one consultations, concierge assistance, personal shopping appointments and private brand experiences.
Discovery and showcase places the focus on new products. Participating retailers are presenting exclusive launches, early previews, limited collections and seasonal showcases designed to help shoppers discover products before they become widely available.
Elevated value and loyalty covers personalised gifting, additional loyalty points, complimentary services and rewards connected to selected purchases. Each offer has its own terms, location and availability, so shoppers should check with the retailer before visiting.
Bloomingdale’s Adds Launches and Concierge Services
Bloomingdale’s Dubai at The Dubai Mall is one of the main destinations involved in the programme.
Until August 30, shoppers can explore beauty and fragrance showcases from Guerlain, along with pre-launches and limited-edition products from brands including Diptyque, YSL Beauty, JW Pei, Malone Souliers, Aquazzura, Andrea Wazen and Gedebe.
The department store is also offering concierge-led assistance and complimentary tailoring. Paid care services from Fabram are available for customers looking to clean, repair or restore shoes, clothing, bags and accessories.
Fine jewellery shoppers can earn ten times the usual Amber points on eligible purchases during Dubai Summer Surprises. Additional gifting and beauty experiences are expected around Emirati Women’s Day, subject to availability and the conditions set by the retailer.
These additions make Bloomingdale’s a key stop for shoppers interested in beauty launches, designer accessories and premium aftercare services rather than conventional discounts alone.
Harvey Nichols Brings First Looks to Mall of the Emirates
Harvey Nichols Dubai at Mall of the Emirates is presenting exclusive launches, first-look previews and personalised beauty experiences throughout the campaign.
Its participating collections include designs from Toteme, The Row, Khaite, Dries Van Noten and Phoebe Philo. Fragrance showcases feature names such as Roja London, Prada and Nishane, while launches from Tom Ford and YSL are also expected.
The retailer’s Whispering Breeze High Summer 2026 collection brings together resort-inspired fashion, beauty and lifestyle pieces. The edit features summer-ready designs from Zimmermann, STAUD, Frescobol Carioca and Rabanne, among other labels.
Customers can also use Harvey Nichols’ Personal Shopping Suites and Style Concierge services. Available services include tailoring, engraving, embroidery and gift wrapping, as well as restoration services for shoes, handbags and accessories through Fabram.
Beauty appointments are available at the Aveda Salon, while On Two Café provides a place for shoppers to pause for coffee, refreshments and light meals.
Launch dates and individual experiences may change during the campaign. Visitors should check Harvey Nichols Dubai or the retailer’s official social channels before planning a visit around a specific product or activation.
Personalisation Takes Centre Stage at The Dubai Mall
Several luxury houses at The Dubai Mall are using the Luxe Edition to offer customised products and complimentary finishing services.
Dunhill customers can receive complimentary engraving or embossing with eligible purchases, as well as complimentary home delivery. The brand is also presenting its Middle East Vernacular Collection, which combines its British design heritage with regional influences.
Judith Leiber Couture is adding complimentary Arabic calligraphy to branded candles provided with qualifying purchases. The personalised keepsake reflects the crystal handbag brand’s focus on craftsmanship and distinctive occasion pieces.
Manolo Blahnik is offering a complimentary hand-painted customised dust bag with qualifying purchases. The service gives customers a personalised accessory to accompany their footwear.
Singaporean leather house KWANPEN is also participating with complimentary initials embossed on a luggage tag with every eligible purchase.
Some of these brand-specific offers continue until August 31, one day after the main DSS Luxe Edition concludes. Availability may depend on purchase requirements and stock levels.
Fashion, Beauty and Home Brands Join the Programme
The Luxe Edition extends beyond department stores and fashion accessories.
Areej at Mall of the Emirates is presenting makeup, skincare and fragrance collections with selected collectable gifts available with purchase.
Luxury interiors retailer Aati is offering complimentary design consultations at its Jumeirah Beach Road and Zabeel Road locations. Consultations can take place in-store or through a home visit and may cover space planning, furniture, materials, fabrics, finishes and styling.
At The Dubai Mall, The White Company is offering complimentary one-to-one consultations across its bedding, sleep and lifestyle collections. Customers spending at least AED1,000 in a single transaction may also receive a complimentary fragrance gift while stocks last.
Marc Jacobs is showcasing The Scene Bag from its Pre-Fall 2026 collection, alongside new seasonal versions of The Tote Bag and The Snapshot.
Palm Angels, meanwhile, has introduced a Dubai Capsule Collection inspired by Palm Jumeirah. The collection includes the brand’s recognisable graphics across a selection created specifically around the city’s identity.
At Mall of the Emirates, Zadig & Voltaire customers spending AED2,500 or more can receive a complimentary 50ml fragrance, subject to the campaign’s conditions and availability.
Why the Luxe Edition Is Different
Dubai Summer Surprises is widely associated with promotions, raffles, entertainment and citywide discounts. The Luxe Edition introduces a different reason to visit participating stores.
Luxury retail often depends on more than the product itself. Service, access, exclusivity and personal attention can play an equally important role in the customer experience. Private appointments, early previews and custom details offer value without relying entirely on lower prices.
This approach also gives shoppers a reason to visit physical stores at a time when many ordinary purchases can be completed online. A personalised consultation, live product preview or custom finishing service cannot always be replicated through a standard e-commerce checkout.
For Dubai’s retailers, the campaign creates an opportunity to showcase craftsmanship and build longer relationships with customers. For shoppers, it provides access to services and collections that could otherwise be easy to miss.
What Shoppers Should Know Before Visiting
The main Dubai Summer Surprises Luxe Edition runs until August 30, although selected offers from Dunhill, Judith Leiber Couture, KWANPEN, Manolo Blahnik and Zadig & Voltaire are listed through August 31.
Not every experience is available every day, and some may require an appointment, minimum spend or qualifying purchase. Gifts are also likely to be subject to stock availability.
Shoppers should contact the participating store directly before travelling for a particular consultation, launch or personalisation service. Loyalty members should also check their retailer apps and registered email accounts for invitations or campaign-specific rewards.
With experiences spread across The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and other retail locations, the programme is not limited to a single venue. Planning ahead will help visitors identify which offers match their interests and whether advance booking is required.
The Dubai Summer Surprises Luxe Edition gives the city’s annual retail festival a more personalised side. For anyone interested in luxury fashion, beauty, fragrance, accessories or interior design, the campaign offers more than another trip to the sale section—and the most limited experiences may not remain available until the final weekend.
