Al Qemzi and Al Mansoori Lead the UAE Challenge
Five-time world champion Rashed Al Qemzi will pilot boat number 1, with teammate Mansoor Al Mansoori in boat number 35. Both drivers made a significant impact on Team Abu Dhabi's exceptional 2024 season: Al Qemzi clinched the championship title outright, while Al Mansoori finished third overall in the final standings.
Al Qemzi enters the Brindisi round aiming to make history as the first-ever five-time winner of the UIM F2 World Championship — a record that would cement his status as the greatest driver in the competition's history.
2025 UIM F2 World Championship Format
The UIM F2 World Championship is an international motorsport series organised by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) and features five competitive race events across Europe and the Middle East. After Italy, the series moves to Lithuania, Norway, and Portugal before concluding in the UAE later this year.
Brindisi Weekend Schedule
Saturday, June 28 begins with official qualifying: Q1 at 17:00 (local time), Q2 at 18:15, and Q3 from 18:30 to 18:50 to establish the starting grid.
Sunday, June 29 features a Repechage race at 10:00 am and warm-up from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The F2 Grand Prix of Italy begins at 18:30, with the prize-giving ceremony at 20:00.
