Decree Takes Immediate Effect
In line with the terms of the ruling, Emiri Decree No. 2 of 2024 came into operation on the date of issuance and was published in the Official Gazette. The restructuring signals a renewed focus on governance and sporting excellence at Al Arabi Sports and Cultural Club, which competes in the UAE First Division League and is based in Umm Al Quwain.
Al Arabi Sports and Cultural Club, founded in 1972, is one of the older sports institutions in the UAE and represents Umm Al Quwain on the national football stage. The appointment of a new board under the UAQ Ruler's direct decree underscores the emirate's commitment to strengthening its sports sector and administrative standards.
