What Is Circus 1903?
Circus 1903 is a theatrical circus production from the creators of The Illusionists, designed to transport audiences back to the turn of the twentieth century — when the circus was the greatest show on earth. The 90-minute production brings together over 30 world-class performers delivering acrobats, knife throwers, contortionists, high-wire daredevils, and more.
Think of it as The Greatest Showman meets War Horse: the nostalgia is real, the danger is real, and the wonder is absolutely real.
The Elephant Puppets: Meet Queenie and Peanut
The show's most talked-about feature is a pair of life-sized elephant puppets — a mother named Queenie and her calf Peanut — created by the same award-winning designers behind the West End and Broadway phenomenon War Horse. The puppets are breathtakingly realistic, weaving an emotional storyline about a baby elephant learning to perform into the heart of the circus spectacle.
