Skydive Dubai has officially reopened its Palm Dropzone, and it did not come back quietly. The team marked the return with a symbolic "Raise the Flag" jump from 13,000 feet above Palm Jumeirah, then announced a buy-one-get-one tandem skydive deal aimed squarely at UAE residents. If this has been sitting on your list for a while, the offer running through May 3 is the most practical reason yet to actually book it.
The BOGO Deal for UAE Residents
From April 24 to May 3, UAE residents who book a tandem skydive at the Palm Dropzone get a second jump for a friend at no additional cost. Prices start from AED 2,199, effectively covering two participants under the offer.
Here is how it works: book one jump through the official Skydive Dubai website, pay for one, and on the day, bring your friend along. The offer is non-refundable and does not apply to any existing bookings. Per Skydive Dubai's official communication, both parties need a valid Emirates ID to participate.
To secure your spot, send a DM to Skydive Dubai's official Instagram page or book directly through the Skydive Dubai website to reserve your slot in advance.
What the Jump Actually Looks Like
The Palm Dropzone sits at Dubai Harbour on Al Seyahi Street, and it is one of the most photographed skydiving locations in the world. It offers unrivalled views of Dubai's iconic sights — Palm Jumeirah, World Islands, Ain Dubai, and Burj Al Arab — from the moment you exit the aircraft.
Jumps happen from 13,000 feet at 193 km/h, and the freefall itself lasts approximately 60 seconds. The total experience, from check-in to landing, takes around three to four hours. For first-timers, a tandem jump with a certified instructor is mandatory. Skydive Dubai's team of international champion instructors, experienced pilots, and specialist operations crews work to the highest levels of professionalism in aerial sports.
There are a few requirements worth knowing. You must be 18 years old or older on the day of the jump. Skydive Dubai also has weight limitations: women must be 90.0 kg or less (BMI 27.5 or below); men must be 100 kg or less (BMI 30.0 or below).
Operating Hours and How to Book
The Palm Dropzone is open from 9am between Friday and Sunday, while the Desert Campus is open from 8am between Wednesday and Sunday. The Desert Campus has long served as a training and events hub for the local and international skydiving community, hosting licensed jumpers, competitions, and coaching programmes.
Walk-in spots are available at the Palm Dropzone on a first-come, first-served basis daily. There are a limited number of priority slots available each day. Each priority slot can be purchased for an additional AED 700 on top of the regular tandem price — once purchased, you are guaranteed the next available tandem slot on the day.

Why This Deal Is Worth Acting On Now
Skydive Dubai has officially reopened after a month-long shutdown, and this BOGO deal is a direct welcome-back for residents. Two people, one price, 13,000 feet above one of the most iconic skylines on the planet. That is not the kind of thing that comes up often, and the window closes May 3.
Whether this is your first jump or you have simply been waiting for the right excuse to drag a friend along, the timing works.
