Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced free public parking and extended Dubai Metro hours for Eid Al Adha 2025, along with adjusted services for the tram, buses, and marine transport. The updates were shared via the RTA's official X account ahead of the holiday.

Free Public Parking in Dubai: June 5–8

From June 5 to June 8, standard public parking across Dubai will be free of charge for all drivers. However, multi-storey parking facilities will continue to operate normally and will require payment as usual.

Dubai Metro Extended Hours for Eid Al Adha 2025

The Dubai Metro will run extended hours to meet increased passenger demand during the celebrations. Stations on both the Red and Green Lines will operate from 5am to 1am (next day) from June 4 to June 7.

Dubai Tram Schedule

The Dubai Tram will also run longer hours over the same four-day period, operating from 6am to 1am (next day) to keep key areas of the city well connected throughout the holiday.

Public Bus Services

RTA advises commuters to use the S'hail app to check bus schedules during the Eid period. Note that Route E100, which normally departs from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, will be suspended from June 4 to June 8.

Marine Transport and Customer Happiness Centres

Commuters requiring marine transport information should check the RTA website for updated schedules. All standard Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during the Eid holiday. However, Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA Head Office will remain open.

About Eid Al Adha

Eid Al Adha honours Prophet Ibrahim's devotion and his willingness to sacrifice. Both public and private sector employers grant employees time off during the holiday, and RTA's service changes are designed to help residents and visitors move around Dubai comfortably.
