CSynch, space tourism is not a thing of the future and Abu Dhabi may soon be at the vanguard of this new industry. European pioneers EOS-X SPACE are planning to start their activities in the UAE and give residents an extraordinary opportunity to travel into space.
Launched to market in Q3 of 2025, with the name of EOS-X SPACE, the company will be using helium balloons to take travelers to the stratosphere frontier of 40,000 meters. The pressurized capsule is for eight passengers including a pilot and enables a smooth space lift. While traveling for five hours, passengers can watch Earth’s curvature, the blue line, and the infinite universe – a view that will be life-changing.
Furthering the excitement, EOS-X SPACE will harness the Yas Island as the planet’s largest international center of the focus firm in Abu Dhabi. It is not just going to be a launch and a landing site; across the facility, Ligier plans to incorporate a luxury hotel complex which will provide experiences both on earth and space.
What people getting a seat on these head-in-the-sky flights are also getting is more than just a ride. Tourists will undergo a one week cultural, food, wellness, and regenerative medicine tour—so yes, the trip is as wholesome as it gets.
This has been dubbed as an ultra-luxurious-sojourn and the price tag for this vacation of a lifetime is between AED 600,000 and AED 800,000. The price tag may be high, but this could well be next generation of wanderlust– humanity’s innate desire to explore packaged into space tourism.
If you feel that your travel plans are a bit… flat, do you want to take things up a notch? Space is out there and Abu Dhabi is soon to make it accessible.
