The Dubai Film Development Committee, created under Dubai Media Council Resolution No. (8) of 2025, held its first strategic meeting — officially launching its working agenda. The session marked the start of a coordinated effort focused on production support, talent development, and international cooperation. Held at the Dubai Media Council headquarters, the meeting centred on defining responsibilities, reviewing scope, and setting priorities that support a sustainable film sector in the emirate.
