The IIFA Utsavam 2024 brought together the biggest names from South Indian and Bollywood cinema over three days in Abu Dhabi. The event celebrated performances across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films, closing with the announcement of this year's top honours.
Aishwarya Rai took home the Best Actress (Tamil) award for her acclaimed performance in Ponniyin Selvan: II, presented during the inaugural Ulaganayagan segment. Vikram received Best Actor (Tamil) for the same film. Samantha Ruth Prabhu was named Woman of the Year in Indian Cinema, adding another landmark recognition to her career.

IIFA Rocks Closes the Celebrations
The three-day event wrapped up on September 29 with the IIFA Rocks concert. Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Karan Johar hosted the finale, while Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and others performed. Honey Singh and Shankar Ehsaan Loy also headlined the closing concert.
Ponniyin Selvan: II was the clear standout of the night, sweeping Tamil-language categories including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Music Direction — all in a single ceremony.
