Brand Dubai has unveiled the 11th edition of the Flag Garden at Jumeirah Beach, Umm Suqeim 2 — and this year's installation is the largest the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office has ever produced.

A Record-Breaking Installation for the #ZayedAndRashid Campaign

The 2024 Flag Garden spans 75 metres in length and stands 104 metres tall, setting a new benchmark for the annual series. Under the #ZayedAndRashid theme, 11,600 UAE flags have been arranged into striking aerial portraits of the country's founding fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum — a vivid tribute to the leaders who shaped the modern UAE.

Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, said the installation is dedicated to "two pioneers whose leadership prepared the groundwork for the UAE" and commemorates the founding fathers who "formed the Union and charted our nation for incredible prosperity."

Timed to UAE Flag Day and Eid Al Etihad

Mahra Alyouha, Project Manager, confirmed that "Flag Garden 2024 aligns with the UAE's Flag Day on November 3 and Eid Al Etihad on December 2." The garden remains open to the public until 10 January 2025, welcoming citizens, residents, and tourists to take part in this beloved annual tradition.

Part of a Wider National Day Campaign

The 2024 Flag Garden builds on last year's tribute to Dubai's leadership and forms part of the broader #ZayedAndRashid initiative spearheaded by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Delivered in partnership with government and private organisations, the Flag Garden sits within the UAE's 53rd National Day celebrations.

Visitors are invited to share their experiences using the hashtag #UAEFlagGarden on social media.
