Dubai has introduced Creators HQ, a dedicated platform designed to attract 10,000 content creators from around the world. The hub was unveiled during the 1 Billion Followers Summit 2025 — held January 11–13 at Emirates Towers — and marks a major step in the UAE's ambition to become a global centre for digital media and the creator economy.
AED 150 Million Fund Powers the Initiative
The launch of Creators HQ is backed by the AED 150 million Content Creators Support Fund, established by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The hub already counts 100 founding members from more than 20 countries, with major platforms and organisations — including Meta, TikTok, X, Spotter, Creator Now, Tube Filter, Epidemic Sound, and the New Media Academy — among its endorsing partners.
Speaking at the launch, H.H. Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, underscored the need to harness technology for community welfare, describing Dubai's investment in content creators as central to its long-term vision for innovation and human advancement.
What Dubai Creators HQ Offers Members
Creators HQ will host 300 annual events and workshops, giving members year-round access to skills training, networking, and industry insights. Beyond the event calendar, membership comes with a comprehensive support package:
- UAE Golden Visa application assistance - Relocation support for creators moving to Dubai - Company registration services - Mentorship programmes and access to funding opportunities
The platform targets a wide range of digital professionals — influencers, streamers, podcasters, freelance artists, designers, advertising firms, media producers, animation studios, and fashion brands. Planned collaborations with social networks, internet TV platforms, and AI developers are set to expand the hub's reach further.
Dubai's Bid to Lead the Global Creator Economy
The Creators HQ launch reinforces Dubai's commitment to positioning the UAE at the forefront of the content creation industry. By providing dedicated infrastructure, government-backed financial support, and residency pathways, the initiative is designed to make Dubai the destination of choice for the world's top digital talent.
The 1 Billion Followers Summit 2025 drew over 15,000 attendees, 420 speakers, and 125 CEOs and global experts — underscoring the scale of the moment in which Creators HQ made its debut.
