Adidas Named Advertiser of the Year
Adidas secured the Advertiser of the Year Award on the strength of two landmark campaigns in the MENA region. The 'Liquid Billboard', created with Havas Middle East, won the Design Grand Prix at the 2022 Dubai Lynx Awards. 'The Female Field' followed with a Grand Prix in Glass: The Award for Change in 2024, recognised for its powerful impact on gender representation.
Eugene Karasev, Senior Brand Director of adidas EMC, will accept the award at the April 9 ceremony. Adidas has earned 43 awards across Dubai Lynx and Cannes Lions over three years, including eight Grands Prix across seven categories.
Chafic Haddad Honoured as Advertising Person of the Year
Chafic Haddad of VML MENA will receive the Advertising Person of the Year distinction at Dubai Lynx 2025, marking more than two decades of creative leadership in the industry. His work helped Saudi Arabia become the first country in the MENA region to win a Cannes Lions Grand Prix — a breakthrough moment for regional advertising.
