Dubai: Dubai Police have temporarily shut the Smart Police Station (SPS) at Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA), authorities announced on Saturday, directing residents to use alternative branches across the emirate.
The announcement was made on X, where Dubai Police urged customers to visit other SPS locations while the Airport Freezone branch remains closed.
What Is a Dubai Smart Police Station?
Smart Police Stations are the world's only fully unmanned police stations, where residents can file complaints and access a wide range of services without interacting with a police officer in person.
The stations operate 24/7 and offer services in seven languages: Arabic, English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, and Chinese. Touchscreens, scanners, and digital signature pads replace traditional paperwork, and residents can connect via live video link to investigating officers when needed.
