Another large mall is expected to open soon to accommodate these consumers, the new Nad Al Sheba Gardens Mall, a two twisted storey retail and lifestyle centre initiated by Shamal, the investment firm that developed this concept. The mall is part of the Nad Al Sheba Gardens mixed-use development sitting roughly 10 minutes drive from Downtown Dubai and adjacent to DIFC, Business Bay, Meydan.
This new mall will have a plethora of luxury stores and eateries with Waitrose, the Orchard’s attach point British supermarket, slated to exist one of the leading tenants. Able to accommodate both residents and tourists, the mall with the necessary amenities thus the availability of restaurants, gym classes, health facilities, and a baby care centre makes the mall a preferred congregation ground.

As for the mall construction, it will also be natural: the usage of the principles of architecture will complement the landscape, the materials of the building will be classified as ‘earthy’, and the color dominant will also be associated with the landscape. This design provides for a supporting roof of light steel work with vertical columns with sufficient natural lighting within the structure. The parking lot as well as the adjacent parks will align with the corridors of the mall to create a community focus area in the Nad Al Sheba Gardens neighborhood.
The residential community itself will be 1.5 million sq m and will consist of modern villas and townhouses with three, four, five, six and seven bedrooms. Clients will be able to get services that more or less border on leisure, fitness, and recreation, in addition to an educational complex as well as walkable roads and cycling tracks to make the property a one-stop socio-economic hub.
According to the chief executive officer of Shamal, Abdulla Binhabtoor, the mall is an important center through which members of the community relate. “Nad Al Sheba Gardens was designed to be a serene but lively environment in which the community can truly understand the feeling of being at home”, he said considering the vision of Dubai as the best city to live in.
