The Spartan Race Trifecta is coming to the Middle East for the first time, and Dubai is the setting. On 25 and 26 January 2025, Dubai Parks and Resorts will host the Spartan Race Dubai 2025 Trifecta Weekend — three obstacle course races of escalating intensity staged across the rugged, sprawling terrain of the UAE's largest theme park destination.
Three Races, One Legendary Weekend
The Trifecta format challenges athletes to complete all three Spartan distances across the weekend:
Spartan Sprint (5 km, 20 obstacles) — The entry-level race still packs a punch, with wall climbs, barbed wire crawls, and a signature spear throw among the 20 obstacles on course.
Spartan Super (10 km, 25 obstacles) — Double the distance and more demanding terrain. Expect the climbing bender, the Stairway to Sparta, and five additional walls on top of the Sprint course.
Spartan Beast (21 km, 30 obstacles) — The hardest test of the weekend. Thirty obstacles, including swing tests that target upper-body strength, a Hercules hoist, and an inverted wall, stretch across 21 kilometres.
What to Expect at Dubai Parks and Resorts
The venue's expansive grounds give Spartan Race Middle East a dramatic natural backdrop for the course layout. The event is open to all fitness levels, so first-timers can line up alongside seasoned racers.
A Spartan Kids' Race will also run on both days, making it a genuine family event. Younger participants tackle age-appropriate distances and obstacles designed to build confidence and movement skills.
Director's Message
Spartan Race Middle East Director Isla Watt said she was thrilled to bring the race to Dubai. "Spartan Race is more than just a race — it is a movement that inspires people to find their beast and rise to the challenge," she said, adding that Dubai would be a fitting backdrop for the race weekend.
