The Arab Woman Awards 2024 brought together 200 to 300 of the region's top executives, leaders, and celebrities in Dubai on October 29 to celebrate remarkable women from across the Arab world. The glittering ceremony at the Jumeirah Mina A'Salam Hotel honored trailblazers across 12 key sectors — from science and sustainability to entrepreneurship, diplomacy, and media.
Now in its latest edition, the Arab Woman Awards continues to spotlight extraordinary achievement while inspiring younger generations to pursue ambitious careers across every field.
Outstanding Achievement: HE Alia Bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei
Her Excellency Alia Bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei stood out as the evening's most decorated honoree, receiving two separate awards: the Outstanding Achievement Award and the Outstanding Contribution to Philanthropy Award. Her dual recognition reflected a career defined by leadership and impactful giving across the UAE.
The Al Suwaidi Foundation also received a Special Recognition Award in acknowledgment of its contributions to the wider community.
Science, Technology, and Sustainability
Dr. Noha Ahmed Al Harthi took home the Achievement in Science and Technology Award, recognized for her contributions to advancing STEM in the Arab world. Sukaina Parpia was honored for Achievement in Sustainability, underscoring the growing importance of environmental leadership among Arab women.
Healthcare and Diplomacy
Dr. Tahani Al Qadiri was recognized for Achievement in Healthcare, while Afra Al Hameli received the award for Achievement in Diplomacy and International Relations — two fields where Arab women are increasingly making their mark on the global stage.

Jessica Kahawaty claimed the Entrepreneur of the Year title, and Ingie Chalhoub was named Businesswoman of the Year for her innovative leadership across fashion retail. Lubna Bouza was honored for Achievement in Media.
Two New Categories for 2024
The 2024 Arab Woman Awards introduced two brand-new categories, reflecting evolving priorities in the region.
