FIX Dessert Chocolatier confirms Museum of the Future pop-up dates and details
Dubai's most talked-about dessert label kicked off 2026 with a short, tightly timed public appearance that generated serious buzz. FIX Dessert Chocolatier confirmed a limited pop-up experience at the Museum of the Future, running from January 2 to January 11, 2026. The activation placed one of the city's most recognisable homegrown food names inside one of its most photographed cultural spaces — right as the brand unveiled its first new flavours of the year.
Open daily from 9am to 9pm, the pop-up kept the focus on FIX's signature dessert bars while adding an interactive layer for visitors who wanted more than a quick purchase.
What the Museum of the Future pop-up included
The Museum of the Future pop-up featured FIX's core chocolate bar lineup, including the creations that made the brand a global talking point. True to form, the brand maintained its limited-access approach — no permanent retail setup, no extended run.
The activation was developed in collaboration with Careem, bringing interactive elements into the space alongside FIX's products. Those elements turned out to include robots, lasers, games, and an immersive laser room experience — a digitally aware retail experience tailored to visitors who already knew the brand through social platforms and previous releases.
The two new flavours revealed
The pop-up delivered on its promise of a new flavour reveal — and then some, launching two new bars at once.
Honey I'm Comb is a milk chocolate bar filled with golden honeycomb candy and a soft chocolate mousse that melts in the mouth. Jam or Go Nuts is a blondie chocolate bar filled with crunchy peanut butter and a sweet hit of jam, inspired by the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Both bars became available via Careem delivery following the close of the pop-up.
Why this moment matters for FIX
FIX Dessert Chocolatier was founded in Dubai in 2021 by Sarah Hamouda and Yezen Alani. The brand gained international attention through the viral success of its Can't Get Knafeh of It chocolate bar — a pistachio and kataifi-filled creation that became a reference point in modern dessert culture after a TikTok video racked up more than 100 million views in 2024.
Since then, FIX has built a following that stretches well outside the UAE, with audiences in markets including the UK, Mexico, Japan, and Thailand. Its reputation rests on tightly controlled releases and recipes that remain private, creating anticipation around every new announcement rather than relying on constant availability.
A short window by design
The January pop-up continued FIX's preference for time-limited appearances over permanent storefronts. By keeping the Museum of the Future experience to nine days, the brand preserved the same scarcity-driven approach that has defined its rise since 2021.
The Museum of the Future location added another layer of visibility. The venue draws a steady stream of residents and tourists during the first weeks of the year, placing FIX directly in front of a crowd already primed for curated, limited-time moments.
With its January 2026 Museum of the Future pop-up, FIX Dessert Chocolatier opened the year with a high-visibility moment that stayed true to its playbook. The short run, two new flavour launches, and the Careem collaboration kept the focus on anticipation over excess exposure. For fans of the brand and visitors to the museum alike, the message was clear — this experience ran for a fixed window, and once the dates passed, it was gone.
