Nad Al Sheba Mall has officially opened its doors in Dubai, marking the latest addition to the emirate's rapidly growing retail landscape. The 500,000 sq ft mixed-use destination brings together more than 100 stores spanning retail, dining, wellness, entertainment, fitness, and healthcare — all under one expansive roof in the heart of Nad Al Sheba.
A New Community Hub for Dubai
Dubai Holding Asset Management, which operates the mall, manages one of Dubai's most extensive retail portfolios — including Nakheel Mall, Ibn Battuta, Dragon Mart, The Outlet Village, and lifestyle destinations such as Bluewaters, JBR, and West Beach.
Nad Al Sheba Mall is designed as a neighbourhood anchor, positioned next to residential communities and schools. According to the developer, the location is intended to provide residents with "local convenience and upgraded living standards" without the need to travel to more distant retail centres.
Brands, Dining, and Entertainment
Among the first retailers and F&B outlets to open are:
- Home Bakery - Parkers - SALT - Spinneys - Go Sport - Fit N Glam - Fun City - Orange Wheels
Union Coop and additional fitness concepts were scheduled to join the tenant mix from May 2025 onward. The mall operates from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays and until midnight on weekends.
Rooftop Sports and Wellness Facilities
One of the mall's standout features is its rooftop sports complex, which integrates a gym, swimming pools, and padel courts — making it among the few retail destinations in Dubai to offer full wellness amenities alongside traditional shopping. This positions Nad Al Sheba Mall firmly within the broader trend of lifestyle-led retail development reshaping the UAE market.
UAE Retail Sector Growth
The launch capitalises on a booming UAE retail environment. Industry projections indicate that retail sales across the UAE will grow from $108.1 billion in 2024 to $139.1 billion by 2028, driven by population growth, tourism expansion, and multi-channel retail adoption.
Nad Al Sheba Mall's mix of community convenience, wellness infrastructure, and curated brand selection reflects Dubai Holding's broader strategy to develop retail destinations that serve everyday lifestyle needs — not just occasional shopping trips.
