This 50,000-square-foot underground market is designed to replicate a 14th-century Baghdad souk and has more than 100 shops selling handicrafts, antique jewelry, Turkish rugs, exotic herbs, spices, and calligraphy.
The souk is divided into four quarters — Syrian, Turkish, Moroccan, and Egyptian — with the design of each heavily influenced by the architecture of the respective region. One of its biggest highlights is the glass mosaic ceiling, considered one of the largest glass mosaics in the world, which took a team of artists months to complete.
At the heart of the souk is Khan Murjan Restaurant, set in an exquisite marble courtyard with Umawi architecture, serving authentic Arabic dishes made using traditional cooking techniques.
Entertainment That Goes Way Past Shopping
Wafi Mall is home to AYA Universe, the first of a next generation of immersive entertainment parks in Dubai — an attraction featuring 12 fully immersive zones spread across 40,000 square feet. Operated by Dubai-based company HyperSpace, AYA takes visitors through a universe of vibrant, interactive experiences including observatories packed with stars, gardens of blooming light, and a river of color that responds to every footstep.
Tee & Putt is one of Dubai's most unique mini golf experiences — a glow-in-the-dark 18-hole setup featuring ultraviolet lights and alien-themed obstacles, with a puzzle-themed course also available. Pricing starts at AED 50 per person for the glow-in-the-dark option and AED 80 for the puzzle course.
