Sharjah: The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has announced a temporary Emirates Road E611 traffic diversion near Al Badi Interchange in Sharjah for motorists travelling from Sharjah to Dubai. The measure, effective from Thursday, will remain in place for five days.

Two slow lanes on the main carriageway of Emirates Road E611 have been closed as part of the diversion. The closure is specific to the direction heading from Sharjah towards Dubai, near the Al Badi Interchange.

What Drivers Need to Know

The Ministry has urged all road users to observe the signboards erected along the affected stretch and to strictly adhere to the speed limit. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time during peak hours and to follow official guidance from traffic authorities while the diversion is in effect.

Duration of the Traffic Diversion

The E611 lane closure is temporary and will last for five days from the date of announcement. The Ministry has not indicated any further disruption beyond this period, and normal traffic flow is expected to resume once the diversion ends.
