Sharjah drivers now have a faster, fully digital way to report minor car accidents. On May 31, 2024, Sharjah Police teamed up with Rafid Vehicle Solutions to launch toll-free number 80092 — a dedicated hotline for minor collision reports across the emirate. The service also runs through the Rafid mobile app, letting motorists submit everything from their phone in minutes.
What Counts as a Minor Traffic Accident in Sharjah
According to the UAE government portal, a minor accident is defined as "an incident that has not caused any casualties among people." If you are involved in one, move your vehicle to the shoulder lane as soon as it is safe to do so, then begin the reporting process.
How to Report: Two Options
Option 1 — Call 80092
Dial the toll-free number to reach the Rafid Contact and Control Center, which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. An alternative number, 80072343, is also available.
Option 2 — Use the Rafid App
Download the Rafid app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Here is the step-by-step process:
1. Enter your mobile number and verify via OTP. 2. Complete registration with your name and email address. 3. Select the "Accident Reporting" option. 4. Confirm fault agreement between the parties involved. 5. Enable location permissions. 6. Enter your vehicle details — licence plate number, traffic code, and vehicle source. 7. Provide personal information: date of birth, nationality, and contact details. 8. Upload photos of your driving licence (front and back). 9. Submit photos of the vehicle damage. 10. Pay the applicable fee to submit the report.

About Rafid Vehicle Solutions
Rafid Vehicle Solutions is an automotive assistance company owned by Sharjah Asset Management Company, the investment arm of the Sharjah government. It handles minor traffic accident cases and provides highway roadside support throughout the emirate.
Why the Report Matters
An official Rafid accident report is not optional — insurers in the UAE require it to process any vehicle damage claim. Without a valid report number, your insurance claim will be rejected. The 80092 hotline and Rafid app make obtaining that document faster and more straightforward than ever for Sharjah residents and visitors.
