UAE Ambassador Presents Credentials to President of the Republic of Iraq

Strengthening Bilateral Relations

  • His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan may our President in the United Arab Emirates
  • His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Booth of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai
  • His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister of UAE, and Chairman of the Presidential Court
  • He expressed their desire to see Iraq keep on improving and growing both economically and otherwise to the government and people of Iraq.

In response the President of Iraq Abdul Latif Rashid extend his greetings back to the UAE leaders and wished that UAE will continue to achieve more developments and growth. He also blessed Amb Al Mazrouei for all his endeavors in the area of boosting up diplomatic ties between the two countries Iraq reaffirmed its commitment to offer all its support to him for his diplomatic tasks.

Commitment to Cooperation

Ambassador Al Mazrouei said that it was a privilege to be serving as an ambassador of UAE for Iraq and underscored his commitment to enhancing cooperation in different fields between the two countries. He stressed upon the great importance of improving brotherly relations and cooperation between the UAE and Iraq to the advantage of the two nations.

Discussions on Future Collaboration

During the meeting the parties discussed the current state of the cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Iraq. These included means on how the two parties could further cement these partnerships for realization of the envisioned national goals and fruits of democracy for their respective nations and populace. The main envisioning covered economic cooperation, commerce, education and cultural studies as well as security and infrastructure.
