Ras Al Khaimah's hospitality and real estate sectors continue to draw landmark projects, and Mira Coral Bay stands out as one of the most ambitious yet. Developed through a joint venture between Marjan — the master developer of freehold properties in RAK — and Mira Developments, the mixed-use waterfront community is rising along the shores of Al Mairid, just ten minutes from Ras Al Khaimah's downtown.
What Is Mira Coral Bay?
Mira Coral Bay is the world's first multi-branded waterfront community, created in partnership with 14 globally renowned luxury brands. The masterplan was designed by Marco Casamonti & Partners / Archea Associati and draws its architectural language from the coral formations of the bay itself — blending natural textures with high-end contemporary design.
The project is positioned directly on Coral Bay's shoreline and offers unobstructed views of Ras Al Khaimah's mountain range — a combination that is rare among UAE waterfront developments.
Residences, Hotels, and Amenities
The residential mix spans 943 branded units across three property types:
- 165 villas across six clusters - 128 townhouses across two clusters - 650 apartments across four clusters
Each unit is styled by international luxury brands including Dolce&Gabbana Casa, Bentley Home, ETRO Home, Jacob & Co., John Richmond, and Trussardi, among 14 partners in total.
On the hospitality side, the development includes a 5-star branded spa hotel with 100 rooms, a 250-key beach resort, a state-of-the-art yacht club, two exclusive beach club brands, and 10 premium branded restaurants. Waterfront promenades, underground parking, and outdoor recreational facilities complete the masterplan.
Mira Developments' Track Record
Mira Developments is no newcomer to luxury UAE real estate. The developer's previous deliveries include Mira Villas Meydan and Trussardi Residences in Al Furjan, Dubai — both positioned at the top end of the branded-residences segment.
Mira Coral Bay represents the company's entry into the RAK market at a pivotal moment for the emirate.
Aligned With RAK Vision 2030
The project is strategically timed to support Ras Al Khaimah Vision 2030, which targets 3.5 million annual visitors by the end of the decade — up from 1.28 million recorded in 2024. RAK's GDP grew 6.7% in 2024, and the emirate's 0% personal income tax and 100% foreign ownership rules continue to attract international investors.
Mira Coral Bay is designed to reinforce Al Mairid's emergence as a residential and leisure destination in its own right, complementing other major RAK developments already underway on Al Marjan Island.
Timeline
No completion date has been announced for Mira Coral Bay. Marjan and Mira Developments have indicated that additional project details — including branded-hotel partners and phased delivery schedules — will be released in the coming months.
