The SQUATWOLF Abu Dhabi store will be located on the first floor of Yas Mall at Unit L1-168A on Yas Island. The listing on SQUATWOLF's official retail pages is marked as coming soon, with co-founder Anam Khalid also confirming in a recent post that the store is almost ready to open.
The Abu Dhabi location joins the brand's three existing Dubai stores, along with its regional presence in Qatar and Kuwait, making Yas Mall its latest UAE address.
First UAE Capital Store for a Dubai-Born Brand
For Abu Dhabi shoppers, the new store means SQUATWOLF will finally have a direct retail presence in the city rather than requiring customers to shop online or travel to Dubai locations. Anam Khalid specifically described the Yas Mall site as the first SQUATWOLF store outside Dubai within the UAE.
Yas Mall is one of Abu Dhabi's largest shopping destinations, drawing consistent footfall from residents, fitness enthusiasts, tourists, and Yas Island visitors — making it a natural fit for an activewear brand looking to establish itself in the capital.
SQUATWOLF: From a Dubai Apartment to 120 Countries
SQUATWOLF was founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife duo Anam Khalid and Wajdan Gul after they moved to Dubai from Pakistan the year before. The brand was built out of their Business Bay apartment — their bedroom doubled as a warehouse, the living room became their studio — with an initial AED 250,000 investment.
Their first sale came on 16 May 2016, for AED 800. A decade later, the brand ships to more than 120 countries, has secured a $30 million private equity investment, and has been cited as a growth case study by Meta, Google, and DHL. The company is now targeting 30 global retail stores by 2030.
